Hi, I’m Cynthia!
My counselling and psychotherapy practice focuses primarily on providing a safe and conducive environment for personal growth and change for people in all different stages of life. I am committed to helping clients explore and discover dynamics and patterns that may get in the way of desired change, all the while maintaining a strong and meaningful therapeutic relationship.
My training and experience is primarily with youth and adults facing challenges related to anxiety, stress, depression, suicidal ideation, self-harm, grief & loss, self-worth, challenging life transitions, and relationship difficulties.
In order to meet my client's needs, I use the Person-Centered Approach, and draw from a variety of other therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behaviourial Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Mindfulness.
I am fluently bilingual in both French and English, and welcome clients who are seeking mental health support in either language.
